Jedrick Wills injury update: Browns OT to undergo knee surgery, will miss rest of the season…

The Cleveland Browns are facing more setbacks on the offensive line as left tackle Jedrick Wills won’t be returning this season. Wills, who has been on injured reserve for over a month due to a sprained MCL, underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, this operation means he won’t be making a comeback for the remainder of the season.

This news comes on the heels of another blow to the Browns’ offensive line, as rookie Dawand Jones injured his knee in practice before Sunday’s victory over the Jaguars. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed on Monday that Jones won’t be back on the field until 2024.

The Browns have been grappling with offensive line issues throughout the season. Jack Conklin was lost for the season in September, prompting rookie James Hudson to step in. Now, with both Wills and Jones sidelined, Geron Christian has been holding down the left tackle position. The Browns will need to rely on this lineup moving forward, hoping to avoid further injuries that could disrupt their offensive line.
