Chargers face major set back after president Takes Blame For…

Your 5-9 Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the more disappointing teams across the NFL this season. They have fallen well below the expectations that were put on them to start the season, and it has caused much frustration in the organization.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos finally had enough, firing both head coach Brandon Staley and general manager Tom Telesco.

But even his family (and a part of his ownership group) knows that the blame for the year falls directly on his shoulders. President of Football Operations John Spanos, son of controlling owner Dean, said as much in a recent media appearance.

The Bolts will get to work on trying to fix the issues that have plagued this team over the years. Their search for a new head coach has already started, and they know that it needs to be the correct person to lead them forward.

With quarterback Justin Herbert on the team, the Chargers have to make sure that they take advantage of every opportunity. To this point, they haven’t, but they seem determined to make a change going forward.

Spanos wants to make sure that the team has everything that they need. He doesn’t want any more excuses, and this team is squarely in a winning window.
