Jalen Warren Stuns Pittsburgh Steelers With This News Today About His…

PITTSBURGH — Jaylen Warren’s unconventional path to becoming a major part of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense has put him in rare company as one of the franchise’s most unlikely stars.

With 54 yards on 13 touches in the Steelers’ 34-11 win over the Bengals, Warren became just the second player in team history to account for 1,000 yards from scrimmage in a season, joining Willie Parker who did it three times in consecutive seasons from 2005 to 2007, according to Alex Kazora of Steelers Depot.

Warren’s second-to-last touch of the night – a four-yard run on third and three from the Bengals’ 21 yard line, which set up a 30-yard Chris Boswell field goal that marked the last score of the game – was the play that put him over the top with 1,002 yards from scrimmage in 2023.

He joined the Steelers during training camp in 2022 and immediately impressed coaches with his toughness and bursts of speed.

Warren accounted for 593 total yards on just 105 touches as a rookie.
