With Less Than A Week Alabama And Michigan No Longer In California For These Reasons Now To Be Played At…
The BamaCentral crew arrived in full out west for the Rose Bowl, and took a trip south of Los Angeles for the team’s first public appearance since arriving in California for the week: at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Select members of the Crimson Tide program rode in horse-drawn carriages down Main Street, U.S.A. for a parade at Disneyland that featured both participating teams in the Rose Bowl Game.
Representing Alabama was head coach Nick Saban, accompanied by Miss Terry as well as his granddaughter.
Just behind them, a carriage that featured the team’s newly-voted permanent captains: quarterback Jalen Milroe, linebacker Dallas Turner, and defensive back Malachi Moore.
All the while, the remaining members of both Alabama and Michigan’s programs got to experience some fun of their own with a day in the park.
“We’ve got to soak in this experience because not too many people will be in this experience that we’re in,” Milroe said. “So we’ve got to soak up the day. It’s time to have some fun.”
The team arrived in Los Angeles yesterday and held its first practice at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California to kick off the week.
The team will continue to hold practices there all week. Over the coming days, the team will speak to the media multiple times, including appearances from offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and defensive coordinator Kevin Steele.
The offense will speak to the media on Thursday, the defense on Friday, and the whole team will be made available on Saturday.
Sunday will be the two head coaches’ final press conference before Monday’s game, which kicks off at 4 p.m. CT.
