The Outrageous Responses Of Joey Bosa Leaves Public In Shock…

Nothing has been more upsetting to watch for the Los Angeles Chargers season than the multitude of injuries that the team has faced since Week 1. Week after week it feels as though there has been a huge skill player that has missed multiple games. Right now, the team has come to a crossroads. Despite players like Joshua Palmer, Keenan Allen, and Joey Bosa attempting to get back out on the field—they have all been ruled out once again. There are only two games left in the regular season and though Giff Smith is acting HC, he should have the self-awareness to shut down the Chargers’ skillful players for the rest of the season. Joey Bosa suffered a significant foot sprain in Week 11 and was placed on IR. He will now miss his sixth game. While he had been working his way back to stepping on the field this week, he was ruled out. Bosa is a crucial piece of the defensive prowess the team possesses, and it makes all the sense in the world to shut him down for the remainder of the season. Bosa may be able to be 100% by the final game of the season, but why risk him reaggravating the sprain—or worse?

The defense would have been even more prolific up front with Bosa on the field, as Khalil Mack has been on a tear this season. He has racked up 15 sacks this season. What makes the number more impressive is he has done so without the extra pressure that Bosa generally provides. Still, Bosa wanting to rejoin his brothers on the field is understandable. The sad aspect of the situation is Bosa should be shut down for the remainder of the season. The playoffs are long gone for the Chargers. The team was eliminated already, and they are only playing for the draft pick position now.

Bosa isn’t the only ailing piece of the puzzle for the Bolts. Wide receiver Keenen Allen has been dealing with a heel injury of his own, which has sidelined him for 2 straight weeks. Allen may have had a career year, but he is getting up there in age. Allen is approaching 32 years old, which is already considered to be an age when NFL players begin to fall off. Allen has amassed 1,243 yards and 7 TDs this season, which are fantastic numbers. We imagine he can still keep that pace next season, but only if he is given ample time to recover.

Joshua Palmer is the newest skill player to be added to the list of those who should be shut down. He will miss this Sunday’s game after reporting concussion symptoms. Palmer could easily pass concussion protocol by next week, but the Chargers would be better off allowing him to sit as well. Allen, Bosa, and Palmer are three players that the Chargers should retain for next season—even if the team is planning to blow up the roster.

There will be a new front office in place, as a new HC and GM will be picked once the regular season wraps up. Well, that’s to say a search will begin. Should the Chargers want to interview coaches in the playoffs, they will need to be patient. The new HC and GM that are picked will have some tough decisions to make. The Bolts are rumored to be around $40 million over the cap for the 2024 season, which is not ideal at all. This means there will be some tough decisions to make in terms of pending FAs that are currently on the team. I imagine the Chargers will want to keep their high-level players like Bosa, Allen, and Palmer.

Then again, all three could be cap room casualties. Their injuries are doing them no favors right now, but they are also the kind of players that entire squads can be built around. As much as the Chargers are playing for honor right now, they should be thinking more about the future of the roster. Should they want to include Allen, Bosa, and Palmer moving forward, the team has no choice but to shut them down for the rest of the season.
