Quarterback Jordan Love has fully committed to being the leader of the Green Bay Packers, both on and off the field.
Packers wide receiver Bo Melton revealed Friday that Love has been hosting team-wide dinners at his home every Monday since the season began. The team has also used the time to review game film.
Bo Melton said today that Jordan Love has hosted dinner and a film session at his house with the entire offense every Monday since the season started. Defense is invited, too.
“Just the bond of staying connected with him, that’s big as a wide receiver.”

Melton praised Love for his ability to “bond” with everyone on the team.
“It’s just crazy how he can bond with everybody, every receiver, every running back… he’s a great quarterback,” said Melton.

Providing free plates of good grub while watching football every week is not a bad way to develop a bond with your teammates.
The move was also widely popular with Packers fans who caught wind of the weekly Love foodfests.

Love’s Monday meals may have helped build the chemistry Green Bay has exhibited on the field of late. The Packers have won 5 of their last 7 contests and can clinch a playoff berth with a win Sunday over the Chicago Bears.
In his first full season as the Packers’ QB1, Love has thrown for 3,843 yards with 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions across 16 games. He also has 248 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on 47 carries.
