Lakers' Darvin Ham Confidently Responds to Reports About Job Status: 'I'm Solid' | National Sports | starlocalmedia.comLakers News: NBA Insider Says People Around Organization Don’t Believe Darvin Ham Can Get the Job Done

The biggest storyline around the Los Angeles Lakers right now isn’t the fact that they are losing games consistently. But rather it’s all about head coach Darvin Ham and his future with the team.

The fanbase has started to turn on him in recent weeks, and now it seems that the organization may be doing the same. After a report came out saying that there is a disconnect with Ham, things aren’t looking too great for the second-year head coach.

To add more insult to injury, Yahoo Sports NBA Insider Jake Fischer is now saying that there are people around the organization who don’t believe Ham can get the job done. Darvin Ham Blasted The Los Angeles Lakers For Lack Of Effort In Timberwolves Loss - Fadeaway World

“There’s just a lot of chatter from people around the organization that he’s [Darvin Ham] not the guy that’s gonna be able to get this thing over the hump… The noise is very loud, there’s a lot of people very frustrated…”

Per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports

The Lakers are a title-or-bust franchise. It’s as simple as that, and it seems that Ham no longer has the confidence of the organization.

The team may be hesitant to fire him, however, since they did just hire him last season. They have gone through multiple coaches over the years, and it isn’t the greatest look for the organization.

But if things continue the way that they have been, the Lakers will have no choice. Ham feels in over his head right now, and he isn’t saying anything to help his case.

After another loss on Friday night to the Memphis Grizzlies, Ham seemed to aim the fanbase for caring too much about each individual game.

The Lakers may be in more trouble than anyone thought, and these comments will only make matters worse. The team needs to figure out how to navigate through this mess right now and keep themselves alive in the playoff race.
