Udonis Haslem is very loyal to the Miami Heat, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he reunited with one of his former teammates in a hypothetical shooting contest with one of the best players in the world.

Speaking on The OGs Show, Haslem said he believes Heat shooting guard Duncan Robinson can beat Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant if only by shooting.

“We’re not talking about shooters, we’re not talking about basketball players,”

Haslem said.

“The top guy is the shooter.”

Robinson is a three-point specialist, with 7.0 of his 10.4 attempts this season coming from beyond the arc.

One of Durant’s teammates defended him, and Suns center Jusuf Nurkic responded to Haslem’s video with a simple meme

The Suns play the Heat on January 29th, so Robinson and Durant won’t have to wait long to put Haslem’s theory to the test.

Haslem said. In the shooting contest, Duncan Robinson,

This season, Robinson shot 45.8% from the field and 41.1% from three-point range with the Heat. By comparison, Durant shot 53.1% from the field and 46.4% from three-point range this season with the Suns. He shot 50.0% from the floor and 38.8% from three-point range in 17 NBA seasons. Haslem might be right, and Robinson might beat Durant in a shooting contest.

Robinson has been the leading player for the Heat this season, averaging 13.7 points per game, which ranks fifth on the team.

Durant’s career shooting percentage from beyond the arc is 38.8%. Robinson, on the other hand, has shot 40.0% from three-point range throughout his career. Many people consider him a shooter because he built his career as a reliable long-range shooter.

No one knows for sure which player is the better shooter. Durant is a very good shooter from the drive and is a good offensive threat off the ball.

As for Robinson, fans know he’s a straight shooter when it comes to shooting. He’s been a great catch-and-shoot player for the Heat and has steadily improved in other aspects of his game.

One thing to keep in mind is that Haslem is not talking about scoring or all of other skills as a basketball player. He just said that Robinson is a better shooter than Kevin Durant.
