Breaking: 49ers’ Head Coach unveils a Shocking Update on Star WR Deebo Samuel’s Status
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – After the San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver Deebo Samuel couldn’t finish the end of the Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers, the question became: would he be able to go against the Lions? 49ers’ head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed that Deebo Samuel is full-go and practiced Friday.
Samuel wasn’t included on the injury report after originally being listed for a shoulder injury. This is a major piece for the Niners to have and will be a challenge for the Lions secondary. Samuel has racked up 60 catches for 892 yards and seven touchdowns this year. The WR is averaging 14.9 yards per catch and will be a big thing to watch out for in the NFC Championship.
The Lions take on the 49ers with a chance to go to the Super Bowl on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
