Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII Transformation Takes the NFL by…
Kansas City Chiefs release a sneak peek of the team’s Super Bowl LVIII jersey, complete with a Super Bowl LVIII patch and tributes to both of the team’s late owners, Lamar and Norma Hunt.
The current champs aren’t wasting any time preparing for the worldwide stage. That includes finishing touches on the Chief’s Super Bowl look.
The Chiefs shared pictures of the team’s Super Bowl look Tuesday morning. We now know the Chiefs will wear red jerseys in the worldwide spotlight. The San Francisco 49ers plan to wear white.
The jerseys are complete with a Super Bowl LVIII patch that includes the Lombardi Trophy and the famous Las Vegas skyline in the design.
The Chiefs will also wear a patch honoring the team’s late owner Norma Hunt, who died in June. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said the team dedicated the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore to her. On the other shoulder, the Chiefs will honor her late husband, Lamar Hunt, and the AFC with another patch.
This will be the first Super Bowl Norma Hunt will not attend. She is the only woman to have attended every other Super Bowl from Super Bowl I, when the Chiefs played the Green Bay Packers to Super Bowl LVII when her team defeated the Philadelphia Eagles.
