Maxx Crosby Breaks Silence: Unveiling the Hidden Realities Behind His Knee Injury

Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby turned in a career season in 2023-24, but it also happened to be perhaps his most strenuous, as Crosby dealt with a dangerous knee injury that required special care. Crosby said the latest surgery, conducted by well-renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal EllAttrache, lasted three hours, when originally, it was only supposed to last an hour and a half. As grueling of an injury as it was, Crosby acknowledged the silver lining of the experience. “It was a process, bro, and it honestly, it made me grow just as a competitor, as a leader, as a man,” he said. “Like, knowing I could get through some hard s— and still come out and play my best every single Sunday, that’s honestly what I got, what I took from it.” Crosby comes off the best season of his career, but with full health, he believes he can still be even better.

“It gets me more excited to get this s— back, rolling, 100 percent, get the wheel 1,010 percent, so next year, I’m going to be flying even faster and playing at an even higher level.,” he said. “So, I’m excited, bro.” From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
