Chris Sutton Tells Rangers And Celtics To Prepare To Fail What’s Your Take On That.

Chris Sutton has sent a title warning to Rangers and Celtic after the latter were held to a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

The Hoops had to fight from behind to earn a point at Pittodrie, leaving Rangers with the chance to close the gap at the top ahead of their game with Livingston later in the afternoon.

And reacting to the result on his personal Twitter account (3 February), Sutton insisted that the “title race is on” and suggested they may have failed to prepare to go up against the Ibrox club properly.

Great advert that for the Scottish game,” he wrote.

“Tremendous second half performance from Aberdeen who really gave it a go against Celtic. Celtic’s failure to bring in a left-back summed up when Bernabei was hooked in the second half.

“Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. The title race is on…”

Rangers fans were largely under the impression that the title race was over at the time Michael Beale got sacked because of how far behind we were already.

But what many people didn’t bank on was Celtic struggling in a similar fashion, because of how relentless they had been under Ange Postecoglou in the previous seasons.

Now fans, and Sutton seemingly, are well aware of the fact that Celtic are not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination and after strengthening in the January transfer window Rangers have a fantastic chance of going all the way.
