Breaking News: First Minister Humza Yousaf Makes An Open Confession About Celtic Fc
Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf has revealed his dream job would be at Celtic Park if he wasn’t involved in politics.
The SNP leader has never hidden his deep-rooted love for the Hoops even if it puts his popularity at risk with the other end of the Glasgow divide. This week, Yousaf appeared as a guest on politics podcast Pod Save the UK and was asked about alternative career paths by comedian Nish Kumar and journalist Coco Khan. Pondering the light-hearted question, Yousaf laughed: “It’s got to be something to do with Celtic”.
He eventually decided on a position previously held by Labour politician John Reid, joking: “Yes, I mean other than being chairman of Celtic Football Club, which is of course what I would be doing if I wasn’t in politics.”
While Yousaf won’t be replacing Peter Lawwell in the Parkhead boardroom anytime soon, the politician did open up on his lifelong affection for the current Scottish Premiership champions.
