The Super Bowl is now over for the 2023 season and it is never too early to look at who could win the next one.
Cleveland Browns fans may want to look the other way, as the team is not well-regarded by oddsmakers when it comes to the next Super Bowl.
According to Draft Kings, the Browns have the No. 17 odds to win the next Super Bowl. With 16 teams ahead of them, they would even be on the outside of the playoffs looking in.
The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are both listed ahead of the Browns. Teams like the Jets, Texans, Chargers, Jaguars, and Bears were all given better chances to hoist the Lombardi over the Browns.
Cleveland has played a good chunk of the last two seasons without QB Deshaun Watson. Between a suspension and injury, Watson has missed 22 games with the Browns. Year three has to be the year that the Browns see what they need with a player they hope is their franchise quarterback still.
The Browns had an elite defense in 2023 and it is something they need to roll over to next year. If the Browns can pick it up on offense and play better defense on the road, they have a chance to play with any team they’ll come across.
While the 2023 season just ended and odds for the Super Bowl a year from now don’t mean much, it sure looks like the Browns were looked over.
