Breaking: Red Sox Unveil Shocking Alex Cora Update Midweek – Here’s the Jaw-Dropping Development

After a disappointing 2023 season, Boston Red Sox fans are looking to see what manager Alex Cora can do this season to get the ball club back on track.

Cora is in the final year of a two-year contract he signed with the Red Sox back in the 2020 offseason, including club options for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The 48-year-old manager has a lot to prove this season. However, Red Sox fans should not expect to see or hear from Cora on Wednesday at Spring Training.

Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reported Wednesday morning that Cora has a stomach bug and is not at Spring Training. The veteran manager was supposed to meet with the team in the morning for the first day for pitchers and catchers.

Nonetheless, fans should not worry about the 48-year-old Cora, as he’ll likely be back sometime this week or whenever he feels better. It will be interesting to see how Spring Training unfolds at Fenway South as the rotation is in a state of flux, and the team could trade a few relief pitchers between now and Opening Day.

However, we know Cora will have his team ready to go this season as the Red Sox try to compete with the rest of the teams in the AL East (New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, and Baltimore Orioles).
