The Drama Continues As Stephen Smith Reacts Back At Micah Parsons Jab At Him.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons on Friday got some sweet revenge against ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

Parsons, who played for celebrity game coach Shannon Sharpe’s Team Shannon was the standout performer at Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Cowboys star was named MVP of the contest, leading Team Shannon to a 100-91 win over Team Stephen A.

The hulking pass rusher poured on 37 points and 16 rebounds to dominate Smith’s squad on the hardwood. Parsons also added a few extra jabs while accepting his Celebrity Game MVP trophy.

After letting his play do the talking, Parsons couldn’t help but throw some shade at Smith during his postgame interview with ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth.

“Stephen A. had the best lineup on paper,” said Parsons. “He had every type of basketball creator. I mean, we heard it all. But at the end of the day, you can’t outplay heart and all my teammates played with heart.

Smith had talented hoopers such as Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud and basketball content creator Tristan Jass on his squad. Stroud tallied a team-high 31 points with 9 rebounds, while Jass had 27 points and 10 rebounds.

But neither performance was enough to topple Parsons and Team Shannon for the MVP and victory, respectively.

Hubbarth followed up by asking about Parsons’ evident beef with Smith. Parsons had the final say in the 2024 NBA Celebrity Game.

“Stephen A. had me on his podcast earlier today saying I won’t be MVP. He’ll be damned if a Dallas Cowboy would come and ruin his day.

But guess what, his day’s ruined again. Crossed him up yesterday, do it to him today. Ahh, Stephen A.”

The “crossing” Parsons was referring to was from the day prior, when the Cowboys defender reportedly crossed up Smith during the celebrity game practice session. Smith was said to have ended up in the hospital after trying to defend Parsons.

Not only did Parsons snatch Smith’s ankles on Thursday, but he also got the win over Smith on Friday during the actual game.

But of course, Cowboys fans would surely prefer Parsons’ wins to come on the gridiron, particularly during the NFL postseason.
