Is This Jim Harbaugh’s Plan After Leaving the Michigan Wolverines?

After Jim Harbaugh left Michigan for the Los Angeles Chargers head coaching job last month, he began plucking several of his former Wolverines assistants to join him.

First it was defensive coordinator Jesse Minter and director of strength and conditioning Ben Herbert. Defensive line coach Mike Elston was next, followed by defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale. Special teams coordinator and safeties coach Jay Harbaugh also departed for the NFL, joining the Seattle Seahawks’ staff under former Michigan defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald.
