Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams was not taking any risks when leaving the field on Sunday, after the wide receiver ended up shoving over a cameraman in his last outing
On October 11, Adams was a frustrated figure as his two touchdowns weren’t enough to avoid defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, and he stormed off the field after losing 30-29. However, his path was blocked by a cameraman, and Adams was ultimately charged with misdemeanour assault after footage emerged of him shoving the man to the floor.
Adams apologised after the incident and will attend court on November 10 after charges were filed. And when leaving the field in Vegas on Sunday, Adams made sure that no one was in his way, before sidestepping down the tunnel.
The receiver may not have got on the scoresheet against the Houston Texans on Sunday, but the result was much more positive as the Raiders won 38-20. And Adams was in a much better mood, as he hilariously ensured the coast was clear before leaving the field.
The Raiders hadn’t played since their loss to the Chiefs as a bye week immediately followed, but they got back to winning ways, which was needed given their underwhelming record. They now sit at 2-4, with some favourable fixtures coming their way.
