So Sad:I Might Not Return Luke Hasz Declares

So Sad:I Might Not Return Luke Hasz Declares.

Arkansas tight end Luke Hasz managed three plays into Saturday’s matchup with Texas A&M before catching a little sideline route and he’s probably out for the remainder of the game at AT&T Stadium.

Hasz fell on his left shoulder and going into the second quarter was on the sideline with it wrapped in ice and his jersey was off, talking to medical people. That is not a good sign for the Razorbacks needing a win.

The Hogs came into Saturday’s matchup with a 2-2 record and desperately needing a win. Losing Hasz, who has certainly moved into a valuable role in the offense. He had 15 catches for 239 yards and three touchdowns this year.

With running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders starting to get involved in the offense for the first time this year, he has 12 yards rushing and 38 yards receiving on one drive. Losing Hasz, who had become one of quarterback KJ Jefferson’s key targets could be potentially huge.

The Hogs jumped off to a quick 3-0 lead, but that has fallen into trailing 10-6 in the second quarter as the offense is struggling after getting close, which has been a consistent problem throughout the first four games.

At tight end, the Hogs were glad to see the emergence of Hasz after having a ton of new faces after Trey Knox transferred to South Carolina in the spring.
