Josh Jacobs Heartfelt Message To Packers After Signing With The Team.
This off-season has been pretty wild for the Green Bay Packers. Just a few weeks ago it was widely thought that the Packers would retain Aaron Jones and move on from AJ Dillon. Today, Jones is a member of the Vikings and Dillon re-signed with the Packers.
In the midst of all that, the Packers decided to sign Josh Jacobs to a massive four-year deal. After the dust settled, Aaron Jones took the opportunity to let the NFL world know how he felt about Jacobs being a member of the Packers.
During his introductory press conference with the Minnesota Vikings, Jones’ was quoted by saying “It’s a part of the business. You know what you signed up for. My agent had called me before all of that happened, told me it was a possibility, so my mind was already prepared, and I just wanted to go where I felt wanted.
That’s here, and I’m excited to be here.” It’s clear that while Jones gave the Packers many years of quality production, he never really felt like a feature back for the team and is excited about having the opportunity to prove that he is with the Vikings.
