Dallas Cowboys Legend DeMarcus Ware Reveals Identity on ‘Masked Singer’

DeMarcus Ware just received his long-awaited gold jacket last summer, and now he’s taking his talents to… reality television?

On Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys legend was revealed to be the man behind a koala mask in the latest episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” Before revealing his identity, Ware anonymously sung the hit 1985 song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears. One of the judges even said Ware “sang so beautifully” during his performance.

Despite the judges’ best efforts, no one could guess Ware’s identity before he finally unmasked himself.

I’ve been wearing a mask my whole life, a football mask. That was my alter ego. But the person outside the mask is somebody that likes to sing, have fun, big personality. I think it was one of the coolest things ever,” Ware said in an interview for the show. “I know I got eliminated the first day, but I don’t care, I had a good time.”
