Phoenix Suns Comes To Terms With New Orleans Pelican For Devin Booker.

Before heading into the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Phoenix Suns made another bold move by trading for star guard Bradley Beal in a deal with the Washington Wizards, which resulted in the team parting ways with veteran point guard Chris Paul.

Although the deal seemed to be a potential game-changer by bringing in another star and trading Paul with his skills declining, the Suns have failed to live up to expectations this season despite having arguably the most talented trio in the NBA with Beal joining forces with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

In the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Suns drew the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are having a breakout year, with Anthony Edwards turning into a legitimate superstar.

Even though the Timberwolves are the higher seed, Phoenix was thought to give them a run for their money and potentially advance in six or seven games, with many believing Minnesota couldn’t hang with the Suns’ big three.

Two games into their first-round matchup, the Suns are facing a 0-2 deficit and could end up getting swept by the upstart Timberwolves, which would be a disaster and has prompted Bill Simmons of The Ringer to propose the team should trade Booker to the New Orleans Pelicans, via NBACentral.

CJ McCollum and Trey Murphy, and throw us two future picks, and you can have Booker,” Simmons said.
