Colts QB Anthony Richardson and fiancée Jada expecting first child

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson and his fiancée are preparing for the arrival of their first child. The happy couple shared photos from their baby shower this weekend, posing in front of an on-theme sign that reads, “We can Bearly wait.”

Richardson and Jada, whose last name is already, coincidentally, Richardson, also got engaged amid their baby shower festivities. “Mommy and fiancée,” Jada wrote as the caption of her post on Instagram. The duo have been together dating back to the QB’s days as the star of the Florida Gators football team.

Richardson, who will turn 22 in May, wrapped up the first season of his NFL career with major surgery. The Colts top draft pick played in four games prior to suffering a shoulder injury this season.

Richardson completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 577 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for four touchdowns on the ground as he proved to be a true dual threat in Shane Steichen’s system.

He isn’t the only NFL starting quarterback expecting a first baby this offseason. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, 30, is expecting his first child, a daughter, with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane, within days.
