While the Chiefs are coming off a Super Bowl championship win, they’ve had some tough headlines this offseason.
Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has faced multiple off-the-field incidents. He is facing eight charges in connection to a high-speed crash in Dallas, Texas.
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, meanwhile, is taking serious heat for the commencement speech he gave at Benedictine College in Kansas earlier this month.
“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you,” Butker said in his speech. “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.”
The Chiefs are the NFL’s model franchise on the field right now, but off of it, they’ve had too many issues this offseason.
