Coach With 341 Career Wins Has Been Offered To…

Rangers boss Philippe Clement is ‘eager’ to take Royal Antwerp coach Andries Ulderink to Ibrox to join his coaching staff, but the Dutchman still has another option abroad.

Clement is looking to bolster his backroom team in the summer as he prepares for his first full season as Rangers boss.

He spoke to Dutch side NAC Breda about their managerial position, but the club are going in another direction.

Clement wants Ulderink to come in to Ibrox as his assistant and, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, the coach is ‘sympathetic’ to that.

Ulderink still ‘has an option abroad’; Clement though is ‘eager’ to take him to Scotland.

Clement also has an interest in a further member of Antwerp’s staff as he is keen on a video analyst.

Rangers are currently preparing for the Scottish Cup final against Celtic, but Clement is looking beyond that as he focuses on a summer which will, he hopes, get the Gers fighting fit to win next season’s Scottish Premiership title.
