AJ Swann Comes Out Clear “Am Fed Up” He Fumes Am Leaving…

AJ Swann started at quarterback for Vanderbilt football against Tennessee at Neyland Stadium on Saturday.

The sophomore previously had not made an appearance since September due to injury and poor performance. He threw 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions in five starts before being replaced by Ken Seals and occasionally Walter Taylor, but the Commodores (2-9, 0-7 SEC) have not won a game since Swann’s benching.

Coach Clark Lea said after a loss to South Carolina that he did not consider playing Swann because “when you’re turning the ball over that position, you’re keeping the team from the performance they need to win.”

Swann has thrown for 1290 yards this season and completed 93 of 173 passes.

The Commodores have scored just 28 points in their last three games. The game against the Vols (7-4, 3-4) is Vanderbilt’s last chance to get an SEC win and avoid a 10-game losing streak.

Swann led a touchdown drive on the Commodores’ first possession after Tennessee also scored on its first drive.
