Pep Guardiola has backed Jack Grealish to rediscover his best form next season amid transfer links to Bayern Munich.
Grealish helped Manchester City make history this season by winning a fourth Premier League title in a row, but he looks to have fallen behind Jeremy Doku in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium. While Doku came off the subs’ bench and scored in the FA Cup final against Manchester United, Grealish was left on the bench in the shock 2-1 defeat at Wembley.
But Guardiola has backed Grealish to bounce back. “He will be back,” he said. “He’s struggled this season and Jeremy has made an incredible step forward as everyone has seen in the last games.
