Michigan Sherrone Moore Under Fire As Front Office Terms His Statement On Commitment Derogatory.
When Sherrone Moore tweets, that’s usually a good thing for Michigan football. So when the Wolverines head coach tweeted #GoBlue and #Smash on Sunday morning, it gave off strong vibes of a commitment.
You know Moore is tweeting about something positive for Michigan football. Maybe, it’s related to something else but with five recruits on campus for official visits, there’s a good chance Moore was teasing a commitment.
There were some big names on campus this weekend. Jordon Davison is one and it would be great to see the Wolverines build some momentum with the four-star running back who is clearly the top option left on the board.
However, as far as Moore’s tweet, my guess is that it’s in reference to a Jaylen Williams commitment.
That’s a complete guess. But Williams has been trending with expert projections from all of the major recruiting sites before his visit this weekend. Williams also released a top four on Friday, while he was in Ann Arbor.
If it is a commitment from Williams, that would be huge for Michigan football. Williams is 6-foot-6, 265 pounds, and out of Palatine, Illinois. The defensive lineman is ranked No. 236 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Williams is supposed to take an official visit to Nebraska next weekend. They might be the biggest threat. Texas A&M and Tennessee were also included in his top four.
Even if Moore isn’t tweeting about Williams, there are reasons for optimism but if I was betting man, my guess is that Moore’s tweet is about Jaylen Williams committing to Michigan football.
