Kyle Busch Has Three Victories To His Name

Kyle Busch Has Three Victories To His Name.

A handful of prominent names entered the weekend without a NASCAR Cup Series win on the season, including pole winner Joey Logano.

Logano’s first two poles of the season didn’t result in a checkered flag, but Saturday’s success and last week’s top-five finish inspired hope he could finally get back to the front in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma.

History, however, favored veterans Martin Truex Jrky. and Kyle Busch in Sonoma. Truex entered Sunday with four career wins in the race, while Busch has three victories to his name.

Despite not owning a win on the season, Truex came into the weekend in excellent position in the standings with 487 points, sitting behind only Denny Hamlin at this point. More success in Sonoma would only boost Truex’s hopes for the remainder of the season, but Logano’s pole win on Saturday was a reminder that there are plenty of drivers still hungry for that elusive win.
