The Yankees are adding another veteran coach to Aaron Boone’s staff.

The club is expected to hire Pat Roessler as an assistant hitting coach, The Post confirmed Saturday, filling out the staff under new hitting coach James Rowson.
NJ Advance Media first reported Roessler’s return to New York.
Roessler, who will join Casey Dykes as assistants under Rowson, was the Mets’ hitting coach in 2018 and their assistant hitting coach from 2015-17.
He previously served as the Yankees’ director of player development from 2005-14, where he crossed paths with Rowson when Rowson was the club’s minor league hitting coordinator.
