Michel, Girona’s manager, has dismissed speculation that he may succeed Xavi at the head of Barcelona. The coach has taken his club to the top of the league this season, and there has already been conjecture that he is wanted at the Camp Nou. Michel was asked about the rumors again, and he made it plain that he isn’t considering a transfer right now.
It remains to be seen who will replace Xavi at Barcelona once he steps down at the end of the season, but the club do have plenty of time to find a replacement.
The rumor mill has already claimed Jurgen Klopp, Roberto De Zerbi, Rafa Marquez and Thiago Motta and Imanol Alguacil are candidates to take over the Barcelona hotseat.
