Florida Gators win their fifth straight game with a 14-4 run-rule victory against Stetson.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators celebrated their fifth consecutive victory on Tuesday night with an impressive 14-4 run-rule win over Stetson, marking the second encounter of the season between these rivals. Earlier in the season, UF triumphed over the Hatters with a score of 6-1 in DeLand on February 25.
In a thrilling display of power, the Gators lit up the scoreboard in six out of seven innings, racking up 13 hits and launching five home runs—three of which came from Bobby Boser. His performance makes him the first Gator to achieve this feat since Jac Caglianone did so against Cincinnati in 2023. With this win, UF improved their record to a perfect 7-0 in midweek home games during the 2025 season.
Starting pitcher Jackson Barberi took the mound but was replaced after 2.2 innings, leaving with four strikeouts and giving up five hits, two runs, and two walks.
