Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has thrilled fans worldwide with a double announcement: a highly anticipated European tour in 2025 and the release of Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a monumental box set featuring 83 songs—74 of which have never been released before.
Springsteen, now 75, remains as active and ambitious as ever. The upcoming European tour marks his return to the continent after his acclaimed 2023 run was interrupted due to health concerns. Backed by the legendary E Street Band, Springsteen is set to deliver what promises to be a powerful, emotionally charged series of performances across major cities including London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, and Barcelona. Tour dates and ticket information are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Alongside the tour news, Springsteen has revealed details of Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a follow-up to his 1998 archival release Tracks. The new box set dives even deeper into the vault, unearthing an astonishing 74 previously unreleased songs recorded between the late 1970s and early 2000s. These tracks span multiple creative phases of Springsteen’s career, including outtakes from albums such as The River, Born in the U.S.A., Tunnel of Love, and The Rising.
“This isn’t just a collection of songs that didn’t make the cut,” said Springsteen in a statement. “These are complete albums that for one reason or another stayed in the vault. They represent some of the most personal and experimental work I’ve ever done.”
The box set will include six previously unreleased full-length albums, extensive liner notes penned by Springsteen himself, rare photographs, and remastered audio. Fans will also have access to a limited-edition vinyl pressing and a deluxe digital edition featuring commentary and behind-the-scenes stories.
Music critics and longtime fans have hailed the announcement as one of the most significant in Springsteen’s recent history. With a tour that promises high-energy rock anthems and a box set offering rare glimpses into the mind of a master storyteller, 2025 is shaping up to be a banner year for “The Boss.”
Tracks II: The Lost Albums will be available globally starting September 2025. Pre-orders open in June, with special bundles available for ticket holders of the E
uropean tour.
