SAD NEWS: Yet Another Key Coach Bids Farewell Following Mike Macdonald’s Exit

CINCINNATI — Former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald agreed to become the next head coach of the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s a big loss for a Baltimore defense that was among the NFL’s best in 2023.

Macdonald isn’t the only coaching leaving the Ravens. Defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson is closing in on a deal to become the Titans next defensive coordinator according to Jordan Schultz.

Two key pieces of the Ravens’ defensive coaching staff left Baltimore in a 10 hour span.

Former Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan is the head coach of the Titans. He saw firsthand what Macdonald and Wilson did defensively in Baltimore.

This is good news for Joe Burrow, the Bengals and the rest of the AFC North.

It’s worth noting that the Bengals do play the Titans next season in Nashville.
