‘Wonderful’… Lamar Jackson says he’s excited by Ravens’ young star who’s been out on…

The Baltimore Ravens appear to be interested in more Urban development.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, the Ravens brought in another former Tennessee Titan to the fold on the day they made the signing of Derrick Henry official, as they’ve agreed to a new contract with defensive lineman Brent Urban.

The fourth-round pick from 2014 (who missed his whole rookie season with a torn ACL) will extend his second stint with the Ravens to a third season after spending the first five years of his career in Charm City.

An Ontario native and former hockey player, Urban has been a reliable depth star for the Ravens, amassing 95 tackles (14 for a loss) and 7.5 sacks in 74 appearances in purple. Between 2019 and 2021, Urban spent time with Tennesse (where he worked with former Ravens defensive boss Dean Pees), Chicago, and Dallas before settling back with Baltimore in time for 2022’s kickoff.

Kendrick Lamar is currently charting hits and drumming up plenty of drama in the hip-hop world as he continues his feud with Drake. As the two rappers trade insults in songs that the masses continue to buy and stream in huge numbers, the Grammy champion makes history on one of the most competitive and important Billboard rankings with what has turned out to be his most successful album.
